Nicole R. Grisé

Nicole R. Grisé is a Canadian artist whose work celebrates the beauty of the world around her. Beginning her career in oil painting and sculpture, she later excelled in watercolour for 27 years, earning numerous awards including the Maurice Domingue Prize (2003) and the Canadian Watercolour Association gold medal (2011). Today, she primarily works in acrylic, creating abstract compositions filled with emotion, atmosphere, and a vibrant dialogue of colour. Her explorations have been showcased in eleven solo exhibitions and numerous group shows, reflecting her continual pursuit of creativity and expression. Grisé’s work bridges technical mastery with evocative, colour-driven abstraction.
